Eric started Springboro Piano Services in 2007 and then expanded and created the Apex Piano Network with Todd Anderson in 2014.  The Apex team is the exclusive tuning team for Hauer Music, and is the highest rated piano tuning company in the Dayton/Cincinnati area.  In 2018 Eric moved to Nashville to expand the Apex Piano network in music city while Todd continues to run operations in Ohio.  Apex has tuned and serviced many high-end pianos for artists including Harry Connick Jr, Tony Bennett, Indina Menzel, John Legend, Jack’s Mannequin, Mark Lowery, Larry Miller, Kristin Chenoweth, and also tune for Wright State University, the University of Dayton, Whittenberg University, Victoria Theatre, Kettering Health Network, Fraze Pavillion and thousands of private clients.

We utilize specialized skills in regulation and voicing that we learned from private training sessions with special mentors and world-class technicians, including Steinway artist technician, Arlan Harris

We work closely with you as fellow musicians to help you have the best playing and sounding piano possible.  We believe you should love the sound and feel of your instrument and we work hard to make that happen.

About Todd Anderson as a Piano Technician:

Todd is a Master Piano Technician and the head technician for the Dayton/Cincinnati Apex team.  Todd recently tuned for the Wright State University event that hosted actor Tom Hanks, tuned for Tony Bennett at the Fraze in 2018 and is on the exclusive field technician team for Hauer Music, one of the largest music stores in the United States.  Todd is a musician too which means he understands that you want a razor sharp tuning and great tone out of your piano.  All of Todd’s work is 100% guaranteed!  Todd lives in Bellbrook and has 5 children… that’s right, that’s not a typo… 5… and ONE ON THE WAY!

About Eric Michael Roberts as a Piano Technician

My life has be992921_556578011056265_138920455_nen about music since the day I picked up the guitar at age 14. I graduated from Wright State University with a BA in Music Education in Piano and Voice. I studied piano tuning, repair and rebuilding at the Randy Potter School of Piano Technology and am personally mentored by Jack Hamilton, (President Master Piano Technicians) and Tim Upton, (Former Vice President of Master Piano Technicians). I am a Master Piano Tech member of the Master Piano Technicians of America and have served them as web master since 2010.

Eric currently lives in Nashville, TN with Emily, August and Bear and leads the Apex Nashville Team.
